Steptacular is a wellness pilot brought to you by Accenture Technology Labs and Stanford University in collaboration with Live Well at Accenture. This pilot is part of research at Stanford University on using incentives for promoting wellness.
All Accenture employees in the US and their spouses/domestic partners who are enrolled in the Accenture medical plan are eligible for this pilot. The reward is funded by Accenture medical plan; hence, we have to enforce the rule.
If you are not on Accenture's medical plan and you really want to participate, you can, but you will not be eligible for rewards. Any reward you win will show up on the Steptacular portal, but it will not be deposited into your Celebrating Performance point account. However, you still qualify for the $10 coupon, as half of it is funded by Stanford, which is not tied to Accenture medical plan. Please email us confirming that you are ok with not earning the reward if you want to participate.
As the rewards are given out in celebrating performance points, we regret that Senior Executives will not be able to receive a wellness reward in Steptacular. However, Senior Executives are welcome to participate in the pilot.
If you have earned a wellness incentive from Live Well at Accenture's 10K challenge program this year, you are not eligible for this pilot. If you have not earned an incentive this year from the 10K challenge program, and you decide to participate in this pilot, you will no longer qualify for incentive from the 10K challenge program.
Walking and running is a great way to exercise and keep your body active and we want to give you a step up! With Steptacular you can earn rewards in three easy steps.

Your data — the number of steps you have taken — will be stored at the Steptacular website and displayed only to you in your password protected account. No one else will see this data, since it will be anonymized. Specifically, your medical insurance company will not see the data.
The data will not be used at the individual level; it will only be used in aggregate. For example, it will be used to answer questions such as: What fraction of employees enrolled? What fraction of participants logged an average of 5000 steps a day? etc.
